Credit is really ridiculous

I actually wasn't aware you needed credit for a credit card. It actually made me wish I had bad credit which is apparently PREFERABLE to none. Paying bills on time for months isn't worth jack shit if it's not 'reported' to these companies.
The only reason I recently got accepted for a card is because it's for new US immigrants to start credit. Basically if you don't have ANY credit in this country you're about as good as an immigrant.

Suing really worries me sometimes

Apple seems to be on a suing spree against Samsung. I feel like they're trying to shut down ANY sort of competition with their inferior products. Who will they go after next?

Putting Yourself Out There

(x)

Job searching is so awkward. Especially for having no prior "official" experience. With no experience what else can you do but ramble on about personal agendas, and how great you are with nothing to back it up. I made an account on monster.com today, and it made me feel like shit. My poor excuse for a resume is of a 'moderate' (or so the site tells me) degree. There is very little to it's body, so I'm expected to put as much charisma in the text as possible. Make myself likeable I guess. At least, that's what all the job search articles tell me. Swallow your pride, hide the embarrassment, and parade yourself around countless websites to attract maybe one potential employer. Most likely as some sort of slave/servant. At my age I don't expect anything more than minimum wage, but I just cannot get into bending over backwards for a maybe. I do realize marketing yourself is incredibly important, and I do understand/agree with it. Maybe I'm just horrible at it, and trying to put the blame on something else.
Who knows!

I did come across one open job offer that caught my eye. Positions are open to be a contracted writer for hubpages Initially it seemed very interesting, but on closer inspection the site is pretty underwhelming. It did spark an idea to start practicing in the art of writing articles and developing a readership for side cash to supplement whatever other sort of job I ever manage to pick up.
